Triphala

Triphala is one of the most well-known and widely used formulations in Ayurveda. The word “Triphala” means “three fruits,” as it is a blend of three potent fruits: Amla (Indian Gooseberry, Emblica officinalis), Haritaki (Chebulic Myrobalan, Terminalia chebula), and Bibhitaki (Belleric Myrobalan, Terminalia bellirica). It is renowned for its ability to balance the three doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—making it a powerful rasayana (rejuvenative) in Ayurveda.

    • Triphala is widely used to improve digestion and support gastrointestinal health. It stimulates digestive enzymes, enhances nutrient absorption, and promotes healthy bowel movements
    • Triphala is an effective, gentle laxative, helping to relieve constipation and promote regularity. Its mild nature makes it suitable for long-term use without dependency.
    • Triphala is known for its ability to cleanse and detoxify the colon and other organs. By eliminating toxins from the body, it promotes overall wellness and rejuvenation.
    • Rich in antioxidants and Vitamin C (especially due to Amla), Triphala supports the immune system, helping the body fight off infections and strengthen its defenses.
